The per-event view

The single screen where a DJ manages everything for one event — checklist, contract, payments, planning, timeline, add-ons, playlist, and documents.

Clicking a client's event on the dashboard opens the per-event view — the one place to manage that event. It's the same portal the couple sees, plus DJ controls.

What's on it

  • The event header (title, date, venue) with a countdown to the big day and a status dropdown right there — move the event through your pipeline without leaving (see event status).
  • A collapsed Booking form section with everything the couple submitted — expand it to review or edit any answer at any point in the event's life.
  • The event's checklist (titled after the event type, e.g. "Wedding Checklist") with live, derived completion — see Checklists & forms.
  • Each checklist item links to its task page: the contract, payments, the planning form, the timeline, add-ons, and the playlist.
  • Print / share — export any combination of sections as a printable document (see Print & share).

Managing the checklist inline

As a DJ you manage the checklist right here — no separate admin screen:

  • Add a custom item for this event (with an optional link and due date).
  • Delete an item you don't need — and restore it later if you change your mind.
  • Override a bound item (mark it done with a note) when the task happened off-platform.

Progress updates immediately, and the dashboard's per-event progress bar reflects it.

Sharing with the couple

The couple reaches the same event through their portal and sees their checklist and forms. When they complete a task, the bound item turns green for both of you.

Checklist

  • Open an event from the dashboard
  • Expand the Booking form section and confirm the details
  • Add or remove checklist items as needed
  • Override bound items with a note when appropriate
  • Confirm progress reflects on the dashboard
