Call scheduling

Let couples book calls with you directly — your call types, your weekly availability, and gig days blocked automatically.

Instead of "what times work for you?" email tennis (or paying for a separate scheduling tool), SpinBook books the calls for you. Your public scheduling page lives at /your-slug/schedule — share it anywhere, including from the availability checker's thank-you screen.

Set it up once

In Settings → Call scheduling:

  1. Pick your timezone. Your windows are defined in it and guests see times in it. (The settings page links straight to your live booking page, so you can check what guests see with one click.)
  2. Add your weekly windows — when you take calls (e.g. weekdays 10–5; one click adds exactly that). Add as many windows per day as you like.
  3. Add your call types — each with its own name, description, and length. One click adds the suggested three: a 30-minute intro call, a 45-minute wedding prep call, and a 60-minute book-an-event call.

What guests see

Pick a call type → pick a day → pick a time → leave name, email, phone, and a note. Confirmed on screen and by email (you get a notification email too, with reply-to set to the guest). Times are offered on the half hour within your windows.

Ask your own questions

Each call type can ask up to 10 questions at booking — short answer, long answer, yes/no, or choose-one, each optionally required ("What's your event date?", "Have you booked a venue?"). Add them per call type in Settings → Call scheduling. Answers show on the booking in your upcoming-calls list, in both confirmation emails, over the API, and in the call.booked webhook. Answers keep their question wording even if you later edit or remove the question.

Know where bookings come from

Share your scheduling link with UTM tags (e.g. /your-slug/schedule?utm_source=instagram&utm_campaign=spring) and the tags ride the whole funnel onto the booking — your upcoming-calls list badges each call with its source, and the tags are in the API and webhook for your marketing reports.

The part a generic scheduler can't do

Gig days are blocked automatically. Any day with a booked-category event on your calendar simply never shows call slots — no syncing, no double-booking your wedding day with a sales call. Existing call bookings are subtracted too, slots inside the next 24 hours aren't offered, and a slot is re-checked at booking time so two guests can't grab the same one.

Managing bookings

Upcoming calls are listed in Settings → Call scheduling with each guest's details and note. Cancel frees the slot (reply to the guest's confirmation email to let them know). If a guest's email matches an existing client, the booking is linked to them and their event automatically. A call-type with booking history deactivates instead of deleting, so past calls keep their context.

Each booking also fires a call.booked webhook, and your bookings are readable over the API at /api/v1/call-bookings.
