Instant quotes give couples a price the moment they ask for one — no back-and-forth email
with a rate sheet attached. You define your pricing once; the public quote page does the
math and every quote arrives on your dashboard as a lead you can work.

It's **off by default** — built for DJs who run on published pricing. Turn it on in
**Settings → Instant quotes**.

## How the price is built

A quote is: **base package (by hours) + selected add-ons − date discounts.**

- **Package price by hours** — you set a price per package length (e.g. 5–7 hours
  $1,595 · 8 hours $1,695 · 9 hours $1,795 — the defaults you can edit or replace).
- **Offerings** come straight from your [add-ons catalog](/add-ons) — the same names and
  prices couples see in their portal. Photo booth, uplighting, live saxophone: price it
  once, it's quotable everywhere. Anything **active** appears on the quote form.
- **Date-based discounts** apply automatically from the event date and are itemized on
  the quote: on a day of the week (Sunday discount) or during a month range — ranges may
  wrap the year, so November–February works. Defaults: Sunday −$50, winter −$100.
- The **deposit** shown uses your [payment schedule](/payments) percentage (default 50%).

## What the couple sees

At `/your-slug/quote` they pick their date, package length, and add-ons, leave their
contact details, and get the total (and deposit) on screen right away, with a note that
you'll reach out to confirm.

## What you see

Each quote lands in your lead pipeline like any inquiry — dashboard banner, webhook,
email notification — **with the quote already on the event**: the quoted total is set
(base minus discounts), the selected offerings are attached as that event's add-ons, and
the full breakdown is stored on the inquiry. If you book them, [payments](/payments) math
already equals the number they were quoted — no retyping.
